As the Global Head of Innovation at Manulife/John Hancock, Ace founded and lead the newly forged Lab of Forward Thinking (LOFT), a network of labs across the globe accelerating the delivery of innovative solutions at the intersection of customer needs, emerging technologies, and newly formed business models. Some projects in the lab include artificial intelligence, internet of things, augmented reality, blockchain, data commercialization, and wealth/asset management business solutions.
Prior to this role he helped launch a venture accelerator in the Boston area and a small real estate business. His corporate experience spans investment banking operations to investment derivatives strategy. This blend of commercial and entrepreneurial experience has helped shape his perspective on corporate innovation, which he continues to research and develop with the launch of LOFT.
Ace holds an MBA from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Finance and an MIT Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation. He attained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
In his spare time, he enjoys hockey, skim-boarding, and golf.
